CCTV and access control for communities and buildings in Madrid

We design the security system around the actual access points of each community, building, business or shopping centre, install it, and maintain it so cameras and access controls are still working the day they're actually needed.

In detail

Everything we do, no fine print

Video surveillance (CCTV) — CCTV and Access Control

Video surveillance (CCTV)

Cameras go where the building actually has blind spots (entrances, garage, common areas), not in a standard pattern. Recordings are deleted within one month of being captured, as article 22.3 of the Spanish data protection act requires, unless they record events that must be evidenced before the competent authority. The data controller is the community or the company that owns the installation; we maintain it on their behalf and follow their instructions.

Electronic access control — CCTV and Access Control

Electronic access control

Each card or code is tied to a specific home and, if the community asks, to a specific time window. For example, to let an external cleaning crew in only during their contracted hours, with no one needing to open the door for them.

Equipment maintenance — CCTV and Access Control

Equipment maintenance

We check the condition of cameras and recorders according to the maintenance plan contracted — quarterly by default — and replace recording drives before they fail through wear. The point is to catch the problem before the community realises it has gone weeks without recording.

Technical fault support — CCTV and Access Control

Technical fault support

A technician reviews the report within 24 working hours. If the fault takes a critical element out of service, such as a downed access camera or a door that won't lock, the repair becomes a priority.

Who it's for

How this service adapts to who's hiring it

  • Homeowner communities

Cameras are placed at the building's real blind spots (access points, garage, common areas) and access control is tied to each home, not a generic system designed for a different type of property.

  • Property management firms

Each community in your portfolio can have its own CCTV and access control system, reviewed under the same quarterly maintenance criteria, without you having to coordinate a different provider per building.

  • Businesses and shopping centres

The security project is designed around a commercial premises or office's real access points (public entrances, loading area, storage), with cards or codes that can be limited to specific time slots.

Frequently asked questions about this service

  • How long is footage kept?

Yes. The installation is signposted, camera placement avoids public streets and private spaces, and retention follows article 22.3 of the Spanish data protection act. The data controller remains the community, who must inform residents and handle their rights; we act as processor.

  • Who can view the recordings?

Only staff authorised by the community, usually the president and the property administrator, with restricted, logged access.

  • Can the system be expanded later?

Yes, the project is designed so cameras or access-control points can be added later without replacing the whole system.

  • What happens if a camera stops working?

It's treated as a priority fault, not routine maintenance: a technician reviews the equipment issue within 24 working hours.

  • How much does it cost to install CCTV in a community?

It depends on the number of entry points, cameras and the type of access control installed. We design the project around each building's real entry points and prepare a fixed quote.

  • How are access cards or codes assigned?

Each card or code is tied to a specific home and, if the community asks, to a specific time window — for example, to limit external staff access to their contracted hours.

  • How often are cameras and recorders checked?

At whatever frequency is set in the maintenance contract; quarterly by default, replacing recording drives before they fail through wear, so the problem is caught before the community notices it has gone weeks without recording.

  • Do the cameras comply with data protection law?

Yes. The installation is signposted, camera positioning avoids public streets and private spaces, and retention follows article 22.3 of the LOPDGDD. The community remains the data controller, and it is their job to inform residents and handle their rights requests; we act as processor.
